VicPD Pays Tribute to Fallen Canadian Officers Anaïs Fortin-Cozzens and Prasanth Indralingam
The Victoria Police Department (VicPD) extends heartfelt condolences to the families, friends, and colleagues of two Canadian officers who recently passed.
We honor Sûreté du Québec Sergeant Investigator Anaïs Fortin-Cozzens, who tragically died in the line of duty on March 31, 2026. Her dedication and service to the community will not be forgotten.
We also pay tribute to Peel Regional Police Constable Prasanth Indralingam, who passed away on March 19, 2026, due to a medical emergency. Constable Indralingam’s commitment to public safety and service leaves a lasting legacy.
VicPD stands in solidarity with the law enforcement community during this difficult time, honoring the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of both officers.
